Loom 1.3.0 adds seed-driven overlay discovery for Tailscale and other VPN-style networks.

  • Add LoomOverlayDirectory, LoomOverlaySeed, and the overlay probe transport for discovering peers by stable host names or overlay IPs
  • Surface overlay peers through Loom, LoomKit, and LoomHost, including query/filter support and path classification for utun interfaces
  • Preserve relay fallback when a peer is visible through both overlay discovery and relay signaling
  • Add DocC and README guidance for Tailscale and custom overlay seed providers
  • Add regression coverage for overlay directory refresh, overlay probe startup/teardown, store merging, and connection planning
