  • 图片皮肤：提供经典、原创二次元与自定义图片皮肤，经典皮肤仍为默认外观。自定义图片仅接受 PNG 或 JPEG；用户选择的文件只由主进程处理、验证并复制到应用数据目录，导入或读取失败时安全回退到经典皮肤，界面不会获得本机绝对路径。

AI Novel Writer 0.7.0 is a major update to release reliability and interface appearance.

  • Skins: provides classic, original anime, and custom image skins, with classic retained as the default appearance. Custom images accept only PNG or JPEG; the main process owns selection, validation, and copying into application data, while a safe fallback returns to classic if import or read fails and no local absolute path reaches the renderer.
  • Windows updates: “Restart and update now” now installs silently and relaunches the new version automatically. A formal GitHub Release in-app-update E2E path validates moving from an installed formal version to a newer formal version.
  • Cross-platform builds: Windows x64 and macOS ARM64 cloud qualification include a cross-platform packaged-skin smoke for the built-in anime asset plus custom-skin import, read, and restart recovery in an isolated user-data directory.

This release includes Windows x64 and macOS Apple Silicon (ARM64) installers in one Release asset list.

  • Windows x64: download ai-novel-writer-setup-0.7.0.exe; ai-novel-writer-setup-0.7.0.exe.blockmap and latest.yml support in-app updates. The installer is not code-signed.
  • macOS ARM64: download ai-novel-writer-mac-arm64-0.7.0-installer.dmg. This package is unsigned and not notarized; Gatekeeper may require a manual Allow action in Privacy & Security on first install.
