  • More verbose logging to pre-check script to differentiate between a desired exit code 1 and an issue starting the script

  • Made Error messages for server to be more unified and easier to identify in log messages

  • Shutdown message was not received due to test message override

Fixed

  • Server read buffer was being cleared too early, resulting in incoming packets' payload being discarded after an initial packet was received
  • The program would not correctly compile the syslog IPv6 address if the main connection addresses weren't also IPv6 -- actually fixed this time
  • JSON parsing was incorrectly handled resulting in log file or syslog options being non-functional

  • Option to specifiy file based logging

Initial prototype binaries for amd64 with IPv6 support.

Configuration files for the binaries are found in their respective source code directories (client or server)

These were only tested on Debian and Synology. Any attempt to run them on other systems may or may not work.

⚠️ Please be careful with this pre-release, as it may not work as expected.
