这是基于 llm-for-zotero 3.9.9 的 fork 测试版，包含对话滚动修复和阅读体验优化，供安装试用与反馈。手动使用测试仍在进行中。

修复的问题

  • 回答生成期间，向上翻看旧内容或连续使用滚轮时，新输出可能拉动当前阅读位置。
  • 鼠标从 PDF 区域返回侧边栏，或展开操作详情、悬停详情链接时，聊天内容可能跳动。
  • 回答完成后，或重启 Zotero 后加载历史对话时，已完成的 “Worked for …” 活动详情可能自动展开，使中间过程和最终回答同时显示。

新增的优化

参考 Codex 客户端，在对话窗口底部增加“正在输出 / 回到最新内容”按钮。向上浏览旧内容、离开底部后：

  • 生成期间显示动态圆点，提示回答仍在输出。
  • 输出结束后显示向下箭头。
  • 点击按钮回到最新内容；如果仍在生成，会恢复跟随新输出。按钮状态更新本身不会改变阅读位置。

影响范围与验证

滚动与按钮改动位于共享聊天界面，影响普通聊天和 Agent 模式的侧边栏及独立窗口；活动详情的展开、收起修改作用于对应的 Agent 组件。

已在 Windows / Zotero 10.0.3 环境下通过 12 项针对性的 Zotero 原生界面回归，重点覆盖 Codex 场景。尚未完成 macOS、Linux 和其他模式的全面人工验证。

安装

下载下方的 llm-for-zotero-3.9.9.4-scroll-fix.xpi，在 Zotero 插件管理页面选择“从文件安装插件”，安装后重启 Zotero，并确认插件版本为 3.9.9.4。GitHub 自动生成的 Source code 压缩包是源码，安装时请选择 XPI。

本次上传的是已经冻结的原始测试包。插件 ID 和对话存储格式保持原样；自动更新地址仍指向原作者仓库，此 Release 不会将更新源切换到 fork。

对应分支：codex/improve-chat-reading；源码提交：78dda956b3bc56a9912efb35d9e58f3162ac6d6f。仓库版本号保留为 3.9.9，安装包构建时单独设为 3.9.9.4。

English version / 英文说明

This fork prerelease is based on llm-for-zotero 3.9.9 and includes chat scrolling fixes and reading improvements. Manual daily-use testing is still in progress.

Fixes

  • Preserve the reading position while new output arrives, including when scrolling back through earlier content with the mouse wheel.
  • Reduce chat content jumps when returning the pointer from the PDF reader to the sidebar, expanding action details, or hovering over detail links.
  • Collapse completed “Worked for …” activity after completion and when loading history after a restart, while preserving deliberate manual disclosure choices.

Improvement

Inspired by the Codex desktop app, a button appears near the bottom of the chat when reading earlier content away from the bottom. Animated dots indicate ongoing output, and a downward arrow appears after generation ends. Clicking the button returns to the latest content and resumes following output if generation is still in progress. Indicator updates do not move the reading position.

Scope and validation

Shared chat scrolling and navigation changes affect regular chat and Agent modes in both the sidebar and standalone windows. Activity disclosure changes apply to the corresponding Agent components.

The combined build passed 12 focused native Zotero UI regression cases on Windows / Zotero 10.0.3, primarily covering Codex scenarios. Comprehensive manual validation on macOS, Linux, and other modes has not been completed.

Installation

Download llm-for-zotero-3.9.9.4-scroll-fix.xpi, install it from Zotero's plugin manager, restart Zotero, and confirm version 3.9.9.4. The automatically generated Source code archives are not installable plugin packages.

The uploaded XPI is the unchanged frozen test build. The add-on ID and conversation storage format are unchanged. Its automatic update URL still points to the original author's repository.

Source branch: codex/improve-chat-reading; commit: 78dda956b3bc56a9912efb35d9e58f3162ac6d6f. The repository package version remains 3.9.9; the XPI version was set to 3.9.9.4 during the local build.
