Fixed

  • The Windows tray icon renders. Every frame inside icon.ico — including
    the 16px one — was PNG-compressed, which Windows officially supports only
    for the 256px frame; the notification area drew the white placeholder while
    the taskbar (a different decode path) looked fine. The icon now ships
    classic BMP frames at nine sizes, and the tray hands Windows the .ico path
    so the shell picks the right frame for your DPI natively.
  • You can actually move the projector now. The detached visualizer is a
    frameless window and had no drag region at all — it was literally immovable
    by mouse, which also meant you couldn't drag it to the monitor you wanted
    before going fullscreen. Moving the cursor now reveals a grab bar along the
    top ("drag to move · F11 fullscreen") that appears and hides with the
    control bar.
  • Detached no longer costs two players. Three compounding fixes for the
    "suffers mightily when detached" report: (1) the main window's background
    throttling stays ON while a projector runs — everything that matters
    (producer, engine clock, bookkeeping) moved to timers in 1.14.0, so a
    covered/minimized main window now stops burning GPU on UI nobody can see;
    (2) the projector honors your visualizer performance tier instead of
    running hardcoded maximum quality for everyone (Lite → light, 4K opt-in →
    full; everyone else a balanced middle); (3) its render resolution is capped
    by tier, so a 4K TV no longer gets full-DPR MilkDrop + scene shaders
    unless you asked for exactly that.

Added

  • Windows taskbar transport. Hover the taskbar preview: previous /
    play-pause / next buttons, live glyph state, no icon files involved. The
    tray tooltip now names what's actually playing.
  • Export your whole library. Settings → Library → Export metadata writes
    every tag plus your listening data (plays, ratings, loves, skips,
    ReplayGain) as JSON or spreadsheet-ready CSV — audit your collection or
    take it anywhere.
  • Four new Eviland scenes (29 total): Spiral Galaxy, City Pulse — a night
    skyline that is the equalizer, Laser Storm, and Deep Jelly, a
    bioluminescent breather for the calm tier.
  • Eviland choreographs the drop. When a section boundary lands with a
    real energy jump, the scene fast-cuts instead of lazily crossfading, an
    accent-white flash blows through and decays, and the accent layer surges
    to full — an event, not a strobe (8s cooldown, never on boot).
  • Every view can explain itself. A quiet "?" next to Discover / Mixes /
    Living Tags titles reopens the view's intro card any time — the answer to
    "what is this?" no longer vanishes after first run. Sidebar entries gained
    function-first tooltips ("Rules that keep your library tagged
    automatically") instead of repeating their own names.
  • The whole app sees the record sleeve. Now Playing carries an ambient
    wash — the current album art blurred into a color field breathing behind
    the panels (pure CSS, respects reduced motion). The title bar's artist and
    the fullscreen cinema overlay's artist/album are now links, closing out
    the "band names and albums are always clickable" sweep.
