What's New in v1.1.5
This release introduces significant performance and reliability improvements, including a custom-built Linux kernel .
Core & Performance
- Custom Linux 6.6.87 Kernel: Optimized for Android TCG emulation with critical options built-in for better container networking performance.
- QEMU 11.0.0-rc2: Fully cross-compiled with the Android NDK r27c, featuring 16KB page alignment for Android 15+ support.
- TCG Tuning: Optimized translation block cache and iothread decoupling for container-heavy workloads.
- Faster Boot: Reliable boot stage detection with stateful buffering, ensuring 2-5x faster perceived boot times on high-end devices like Pixel 10.
Terminal & UX
- Virtio-Console Migration: Switched from PL011 UART to virtio-console for more robust serial I/O and window resizing.
- SIGWINCH Debouncing: Eliminated cursor flashing during keyboard animations by debouncing resize signals.
- Improved Settings: New 'Advanced QEMU' section to customize QEMU arguments and kernel command-line extras.
