Full Changelog Previous Releases
- Add CurseForge release pipeline and MIT license
- .pkgmeta packages the addon as Profit/ without the dev tools and export
data, with Auctionator as a required dependency. - .github/workflows/release.yml runs BigWigsMods/packager on v* tags to
upload to CurseForge (project 1719723) and create a GitHub release. - Profit.toc takes its version from the tag.

- .pkgmeta packages the addon as Profit/ without the dev tools and export
- Point export window at GitHub issues
Tell players to post their /prof export string as an issue at
github.com/ExcEssIv3/profit/issues, and make room for the longer text.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 noreply@anthropic.com - Rename addon to Profit
The TOC, saved variables (ProfitDB, ProfitCharDB), global frame names and
messages now use "Profit". /prof still works, and /profit replaces
/professions. import_recorded.py reads Profit.lua, and still reads
Professions.lua from before the rename.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 noreply@anthropic.com - Add window, character rankings, export, minimap button
- UI.lua: /prof opens a sortable, filterable recipe window with a detail
pane; clicking a known recipe opens it in the profession window. - Rankings default to the character's professions (known + learnable),
colored by skill-up chance; grey recipes stay listed. - Known.lua reads profession skill levels and can open recipes.
- /prof export gives a shareable string; import_recorded.py reads it and
keeps fields the string lacks. - Minimap.lua: draggable minimap button, /prof minimap to hide.
- Rename global frames and slash command to avoid clashing with
Blizzard's ProfessionsFrame. - Vendor prices are per item (client BuyPrice is per vendor stack).
- Recipe sources are a list (trainer and item can both apply);
automatic recipes count as trainer at skill 1. - New trainer and merchant recordings from Stormwind.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 noreply@anthropic.com
- UI.lua: /prof opens a sortable, filterable recipe window with a detail
- Initial addon: recipe data, Auctionator pricing, trainer/merchant recording
- tools/build_recipes.py builds recipe data from WoW Forever client DB2 tables
(via wago.tools): materials, output, tools, stations, skill ranges, and where
each recipe is learned. Writes export/recipes.json and the addon's Data/*.lua. - Core.lua prices recipes with Auctionator (vendor materials at vendor price),
with /prof top and /prof commands. - Record.lua records trainer learn levels and merchant stock in game;
tools/import_recorded.py merges them into export/recorded.json. - Known.lua tracks which recipes each character knows.
