Supersedes dependabot PR #17. Merging as a direct commit because the upgrade needs accompanying tsconfig changes that dependabot's bump doesn't include: - tsconfig.json adds explicit `rootDir: "src"`. TS 6 no longer infers it from `baseUrl` (which we removed in the previous commit to drop that deprecation), and rollup-plugin-typescript warns without it — which caused the declaration emit to skip dist/esm/index.d.ts and verify:exports to fail. - tsconfig.declaration.json picks up `rootDir: "src"` and `ignoreDeprecations: "6.0"`. The declaration-bundling path uses `module: "amd"` + `outFile` which are both deprecated in TS 6 and will be removed in TS 7. Replacing them requires moving the single-file d.ts bundling onto rollup-plugin-dts (or similar); out of scope for this change. ignoreDeprecations silences until the real migration happens. - tsconfig.test.json explicit `types` list was already added in the previous commit; no further change needed here. verify:release now passes end-to-end on TS 6.0.3 locally.

Superseded by direct commit 325f2d2 on master, which bumps typescript to the same 6.0.3 and applies the accompanying tsconfig changes (rootDir: src, ignoreDeprecations for the declaration-bundling path). Closing to clean up the dependabot queue. |
