PROPOSAL:

Tests

Setup

• Account A grants Copilot access to Account B.
• Account B switches to act on behalf of Account A (delegate mode).

Manual request

1. Tap + → Request money.
2. Enter an amount (e.g. $25), select a workspace, and confirm.
3. Verify: The delegate indicator (on behalf of Account A) appears on the expense action.

Track expense

1. Tap + → Track expense.
2. Enter an amount and confirm on the self DM.
3. Verify: The delegate indicator appears on the tracked expense action.

Distance expense

1. Tap + → Request money → Distance → Manual.
2. Enter a distance and confirm.
3. Verify: The delegate indicator appears on the distance expense action.

Non-delegate regression

1. Switch back to acting as yourself.
2. Submit a manual request expense (e.g. $10).
3. Verify: No delegate indicator appears on the expense action.

  • I verified proper file naming conventions were followed for any new files or renamed files. All non-platform specific files are named after what they export and are not named "index.js". All platform-specific files are named for the platform the code supports as outlined in the README.
  • I verified the JSDocs style guidelines (in STYLE.md) were followed
• If a new code pattern is added I verified it was agreed to be used by multiple Expensify engineers
• I followed the guidelines as stated in the Review Guidelines
• I tested other components that can be impacted by my changes (i.e. if the PR modifies a shared library or component like Avatar, I verified the components using Avatar are working as expected)

Why: This is a pure internal refactor. The PR threads delegateAccountID as an explicit parameter/hook (useDelegateAccountID) through the IOU request / track / distance action layer, replacing internal Onyx.connect() reads on ONYXKEYS.ACCOUNT — the goal of the linked issue #66425. There is no change to user-facing behavior, UI, labels, or flows:

• The copilot/delegate "on behalf of" indicator on expense actions already existed and behaves identically after this change.
• No new features, settings, buttons, or tabs were added or renamed.
• All non-test edits just pass an already-available value down the call chain; the remaining changes are unit tests.

Since the help site documents product behavior (not internal state-management plumbing), there's nothing to add or correct, so I have not created a draft docs PR.
