Bug Fixes

  • reconninja.py — VERSION was incorrectly set to "7.0.0" despite being v8 code; affected the startup banner, argparse description, and --update version comparison — fixed to "8.1.0"
  • reconninja.py — Module docstring header still read ReconNinja v7.0.0 — updated to v8.1.0
  • gui/app.py — autocomplete="of" typo on the target input field — corrected to autocomplete="off" (browsers were showing autocomplete suggestions)
  • gui/app.py — SSE keepalive message was sent as type: "log" with text "…", causing the progress log to fill with noise every 30 s of idle time — changed to type: "keepalive" which the JS client correctly ignores
  • gui/app.py — _scan_queues and _scan_results dicts were never pruned after a scan completed, causing an unbounded memory leak in long-running GUI sessions — entries are now removed in the run_scan finally block once the sentinel is enqueued
