MAVLink to yaapu and via backpack to GCS #3553

Description

@drtrigon

Current Behavior

I was using CRSF and yaapu successfully with the latest ArduPilot.

Now I changed to MAVLink and am able to connect. Also some sensors are detected (e.g. flight mode) and yaapu runs using them.

However, there are sensors missing like attitude, gps, etc. In total I get 12 sensors only.

I can connect to the backpack hotspot but neither QGC nor Mission Planner are able to connect to the FC. Also the backpack hotspot shows "000000" as id at the end of the SSID.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. setup according to https://www.expresslrs.org/software/mavlink/ (Link Mode to MAVLink, configure ArduPilot, discover sensors in EdgeTX, set backpack telemetry to Wifi)
  2. looking at yaapu shows the flight mode and the text messages but everything else does not work
  3. connecting to the backpack via wifi show a SSID having "000000" at the end (strange?!) and no data seem to arrive as QGC and Mission Planner cannot connect
  4. browsing to 10.0.0.1 and going to the mavlink tab show packages going into one direction only

Your Environment

  • TX hardware: Radiomaster Nomad
  • RX hardware: betafpv ELRS Lite Receiver (2.4G)
  • Handset model: TX16S
  • EdgeTX 2.11.4
  • ExpressLRS version 4.0.0, backpack 1.5.5 (1.5.4 tested also):
  • Packet Rate: 333 Hz Full
  • Telemetry Ratio: 1/2 (forced by MAVLink)
