Releases: FGLabs-dev/Fadrio
Release list
Fadrio 0.2.0 Alpha 2
Fadrio 0.2.0 Alpha 2
This source-only alpha completes adoption of the final Fadrio identity. It contains the application-centric PipeWire mixer foundation under the supplied Fadrio branding.
Highlights
- Renames all managed projects, namespaces, binaries, native library and C ABI symbols to Fadrio.
- Adopts
dev.fglabs.Fadrio, Fadrio XDG paths, fadrio, andfadrioctlbefore those identities become stable public contracts. - Replaces the former artwork with the supplied dark/light banners, logos, symbols, and application icons.
- Renames current repository, tracker, documentation, release, and website surfaces while preserving stable GitHub issue numbers and release tags.
Important limitations
- This remains a source-only evaluation snapshot with no supported binary package.
- Persistence, the finished mixer UI, tray integration, MIDI control, profiles, and localization are not implemented yet.
- Existing Alpha 1 source archives retain their historical contents; Alpha 2 is the first source archive containing the complete Fadrio identity.
Fadrio 0.2.0 Alpha 1
Fadrio 0.2.0 Alpha 1
This historical source-only snapshot closed the M0.2 qualification milestone before the final application identity was adopted. It remains available for reproducibility; use Alpha 2 or later for Fadrio source, names, binaries, native ABI identifiers, and branding.
Qualified foundation
- Application-centric PipeWire discovery and multi-session control.
- Deterministic identity evidence with safe conflict fallback.
- Initial native Linux, browser, Electron, and corroborated Steam/Proton identity paths.
- Isolated PipeWire restart coverage and native ownership checks under ASAN/UBSAN.
Limitations
- Historical source contents use retired development identifiers.
- No supported binary packages, persistence, finished mixer UI, tray integration, MIDI control, profiles, or localization.
Fadrio 0.1.0 M0
Fadrio 0.1.0 M0
This historical source-only milestone records the initial engineering baseline: repository structure, architecture boundaries, native PipeWire bridge, application aggregation model, and early CLI/UI shells.
It predates the final application identity, has no packaged binaries, and is retained only for reproducibility. Use the newest Fadrio alpha for evaluation and issue reporting.
