Sound issues

If you experience any sound-related issues during gameplay, try going to the audio options menu, and disabling USE 3D SOUND. This option can cause issues on some (surround) sound setups.

If this does not help, the issue may be related to DirectSound. In case you selected the DxWrapper Graphics Renderer option when you installed this mod, go to the EXE folder of your Freelancer: HD Edition directory and open the dxwrapper.ini file with a text editor. Find the following line:

EnableDsoundWrapper        = 0

Change the value 0 into 1, then save the file and exit.

If this still does not help, you may revert the change you just made to dxwrapper.ini. Try updating your audio driver or using a different sound device (e.g. speaker or headphones).
