v1.6.22
v1.6.21
New Features and Improvements
Device Support
- SRCP1000 is no longer supported. It can no longer be registered or added to configurations, existing configurations that contain
an SRCP1000 can no longer be edited or saved, and the desktop app blocks firmware and configuration updates for it. - SRCP logging is now enabled.
- Set RTC now works on EPC devices.
Configurations
- New 2:1 controller setups over LRBLE: WESP+EPC:EPC, WESP+EPC:NSCP (receiver output locked to channel 1), and SRCP+EPC:EPC.
- All sender interface options now appear together on the configuration General tab instead of being split across the General and
Device tabs. - Peer list and CAN (J1939) blocks are now included in EPC:EPC 1:1 sender configurations over both IP and ISM.
- EPC:EPC configurations now include a CAN Node ID field for the transmitting EPC (default 3), for both CAN J1939 and CANopen.
- EPC configurations to any receiver over ISM, BLE, or LRBLE now always include a peer list. The peer list is removed from EPC:NSCP
over Ethernet. - FORT Manager now warns, inline and with a confirmation popup that links to the conflicting configuration, when a device IP address
is already used by another configuration in your organization. - In General Settings, the "250 msec (not recommended)" Safety Timeout option now appears at the bottom of the list and shows a
warning when selected.
Device Logs
- Device Logs can now be searched by keyword and by error message, including data fields such as RSSI values.
- The NSC Pro low-battery warning in Device Logs is now more prominent.
- The NSCP OSSD-Off warning now references firmware versions 4.1.0, 4.1.1, and 26.2.
- The desktop app now records detailed application logs automatically to help with troubleshooting.
Users, Devices, and Dashboard
- The Users page adds role filters (Admin, Config Manager, Device Manager, Operator), colored role tags, and a pending-users count.
- The Devices page adds a device-type filter (All, EPC, SRCP, WESP, NSCP) with counts, plus inline editing of device names.
- Device registration now combines serial number and name into a single step, makes the name optional (defaulting to the serial
number), shows the device model, and supports QR-code scanning. - The Dashboard now collapses notification banners into a single expandable row with an unread-count badge, freeing up screen space.
- Dashboard cards for Devices, Configurations, and Users now show an additional metric and link to a filtered view. The Users card
shows a pending-users count.
Bug Fixes
Configurations
- Fixed configuration editing defaulting the receiver type to EPC when the current receiver is an NSCP.
- Fixed a case where a configuration could show as both "Deployed" and "Incomplete" at the same time.
- Fixed NSCP configurations over IP that could not be completed due to incorrect IP address validation.
- Fixed the network ID going missing after switching a 1:1 ISM configuration through BLE and removing and re-adding a device.
- Selecting devices or receivers from a filtered or searched list no longer clears previously selected ones.
- Ethernet is again offered as an interface after replacing an EPC_1001 receiver with an EPC_1003.
- CAN status messages are now enabled on EPC:EPC configurations over LRBLE.
- The setup wizard no longer shows an error when selecting an NSCP that previously had a template applied.
- Global E-Stop configurations no longer allow BLE. The SRCP is limited to ISM or LRBLE, and the EPC to IP.
- Corrected the FORT SDK Port tooltip for NSCP (IP-to-serial conversion) and the Data Output Control tooltip.
Device Connection and Updates
- FORT Manager now detects an unresponsive tethered device within a set time and shows a "device not responding" state instead of
waiting indefinitely. - FORT Manager now detects when a tethered EPC disconnects, including during a log download.
- When a device update stalls, the desktop app now resets the device and prompts you to power-cycle it if it remains unresponsive.
- The desktop app now closes the device connection right away after 10 failed retransmission attempts.
Device Logs
- Device Logs now shows a clear "no logs to pull" message when logs are already up to date, and more reliably downloads all logs
from the device. - Newly downloaded device logs are highlighted as "new" again, and a refresh button has been added.
- The app no longer freezes on slow device log searches, which could previously cause a crash on Windows.
General
- FORT Manager no longer shows "starting/finishing sync of offline data" banners when there is no data to upload.
- The "Download Desktop App" links now point to the current release.
v1.6.11
Bug Fix:
Improved log fetch reliability: failed fetches are now retried automatically, and unresponsive devices fail fast with a clear error instead of hanging.
v1.6.10
The is a hotfix release due to an issue was identified with (1.6.9) where Pro Series users that have not updated their firmware version since March 2026 will experience failures upon tethering their devices to their Fort Manager Desktop Application.
- Full support the NSC Pro 1003, a new NSC Pro model with a Long Range Bluetooth (LRBLE) radio.
- (Beta Feature) Logging: FORT Manager supports fetching and storing diagnostic logs generated in EPC, WESP, and NSCP devices directly from a tethered USB connection.
v1.6.9
- FORT Manager and the Desktop App now fully support the NSCP 1003, a new NSC Pro model with a Long Range Bluetooth (LRBLE) radio.
- (Beta Feature) The Desktop App (v1.6.8) can now fetch, store, and manage on-device diagnostic logs from EPC, WESP, and NSCP devices directly from a tethered USB connection.
