Repository navigation
v0.40.2
Pre-releaseThe navigation buttons come back on the same condition as the cursor
They already hid together — 3 seconds of stillness, 1 second in fullscreen. They did not come back together: the buttons answered the first mouse event while the cursor waited for movement that had lasted 250 ms. Two halves of one gesture, two clocks. A knock against the desk put the navigation back on the wall while the cursor stayed correctly hidden, which made the protection half a protection — and the missing half was the visible one.
Both now wait for the same 250 ms of continuous movement. A brush past the sensor puts nothing back on screen.
Deliberate gestures keep their immediacy and do not go through that condition: entering or leaving fullscreen, and clicking in the button corner, reveal the chrome at once. Those are things a speaker does on purpose; a mouse sliding under a sleeve is not.
Nothing else changes.
