ArWen 2.7.2
- Windows desktop: extract the ZIP and open ArWen.exe. Graphical setup installs the matching Python, CUDA dependencies, physics tables and geography, then checks the GPU.
- Linux desktop: manual Python setup on x86-64 Linux with glibc 2.39 or newer. Follow the included installation guide.
- Integration kit, desktop source, verification records, and checksums.
Windows local forecasting requires a compatible NVIDIA GPU and driver. First setup downloads several gigabytes; allow at least 25 GB free disk space, plus weather inputs and forecast output. Setup progress and errors remain visible in the application.
The separate engine distributions and native bundles below also serve the verified publishing and manual installation paths. Most users should choose a desktop download above.
Fixed
- My forecasts lists an accepted forecast immediately and follows it through acquisition, preparation, simulation, rendering and its final state.
- Saved runs whose receipts cannot be validated are listed with the reason instead of disappearing.
- A worker's plain working-directory spelling is no longer read as a different directory.
- Windows desktop: the ArWen terminal is reachable from the desktop. Show progress in TUI, Connections in TUI and Credentials & connection settings open the terminal window of the same controller and forecast.
- Ctrl+Q hides that terminal window again without stopping anything.
- Opening ArWen while a forecast still runs in the background reopens the running controller's workspace instead of starting a second controller.
