Learn about vigilant mode.

After an update, Tinypen's menu says so.

Updated, and you can tell. Updates still install without a word, so nothing comes up over your slides. Now the menu bar menu on a Mac, and the tray menu on Windows, starts with "Updated to Tinypen X" for the rest of that day.

Copies of 1.1.0 update to this by themselves within a week. Copies of 1.0.0 cannot update themselves: download this one by hand.

Mac (macOS 14 or later): download Tinypen-mac.zip below, open it and drag Tinypen into Applications. The first time, macOS says it cannot check it for malware: open System Settings, Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway.

Windows (10 or 11): download Tinypen-win-x64.exe below, or Tinypen-win-arm64.exe on an ARM PC, and put it in a folder of your own. If SmartScreen warns about an unknown publisher, click More info, then Run anyway.
