List Fallout in awesome lists #599

Description

@ChrisonSimtian

Problem

Fallout appears in no curated "awesome" list. NUKE, the project Fallout forked from, is listed in roughly 28 list repositories. Someone looking for a C#/.NET build system finds NUKE and does not find Fallout.

Outcome

Fallout is listed in the curated lists that still merge contributions. Lists that no longer merge anything are recorded here, so the same research is not repeated.

Acceptance criteria

  • An entry for Fallout is merged into at least one list with more than 1000 stars.
  • Every list under consideration has a sub-issue recording its state and its submission link.
  • Lists that are auto-generated or abandoned are named below with the reason to skip them.

Skip these — researched 2026-07-30

Auto-generated, ignores pull requests:

  • uhub/awesome-c-sharp — bot commits monthly as uhub <uhub@localhost>. 15 pull requests since 2021, none merged.
  • Correia-jpv/fucking-awesome-dotnet-core, icopy-site/awesome, trackawesomelist/trackawesomelist — mirrors that regenerate from an upstream list. They pick Fallout up automatically once an upstream list merges.

Abandoned. Date in brackets is the last merged pull request:

  • jasonhua95/awesome-dotnet-core (2021-02)
  • mehdihadeli/awesome-dotnet-core-education (2022-02)
  • aws/dotnet-foss (2023-07)
  • dotnet-easy/easy-dotnet (2023-10)
  • Mwaseemzakir/awesome-dotnet-resources (2024-07)
  • ara3d/extra-awesome-dotnet (never merged one)
  • jobbole/awesome-dotnet-cn (repo untouched since 2022)
