Fixed

  • The portal now offers a way to be kept posted. The previous release added this to the public events pages and missed the portal, which offered only "view in Cortex" or "sign in" — so a visitor who simply wanted to be told when something new was posted had nowhere to say so. The sign-up box now appears under each wave there.

  • A wave with events switched off could not be followed at all. Following reused the gate that guards the events pages, which requires events to be enabled. A wave used purely for announcements — precisely what someone reading the portal wants to follow — was therefore turned away. Following now asks only that the wave is published to the portal. The events pages themselves are unchanged.
