Built on Horizon 2.2.1.

This is the first release on Solstice's new CalVer version scheme (YYYY.MM.MICRO). The Horizon release the shared app is based on is now shown in Settings and noted here in the release notes.

Changes since v2.2.3

  • New version scheme (CalVer). Solstice now versions on its own calendar-based cadence instead of tracking Horizon's number. The current Solstice version and its Horizon base both appear in Settings.
  • Fixed the eicon selector on Android. Opening eicon favourites no longer freezes the picker or fails to insert.
  • Fixed character pins not saving on mobile. Pins are now persisted through native storage instead of localStorage.
  • Steadier drag-to-reorder on touch. Sidebar conversations and channel groups now require a brief press-and-hold before they start dragging, so a quick tap no longer reorders them by accident.
  • Docs: Android install now points to the prebuilt APK below; templates and metadata updated to cover both Android and iOS.

Install

  • Android: download the solstice-v2026.6.0-solstice.apk asset below and open it on your phone (you may need to allow installing from unknown sources).
  • iOS: update automatically through the SideStore source (set up as described in the README), or download the Solstice-2026.6.0.ipa asset below.
