0.41R8

This is for version 0.41R8, PC only. It may or may not work for future/previous versions.

1. Download and unzip this VR patcher. (This patcher updated for 0.41 so make sure you have the newest one for this version)
2. Drag “Virtual Succubus.exe” onto “VSVRSetup.exe” then press enter when it’s done.
3. Now you need to install MelonLoader. Follow the instructions for “Automated” here
4. Put the actual VR mod (VSVRMod.dll, from the bottom of this page) into the "Mods" folder, which should have been created in your "VS0.##RELEASE#" folder by MelonLoader.
5. If you do not have it already, get SteamVR (I’m pretty sure VS won’t show as playing on Steam since it’s not a game in your steam library and it will instead show you playing SteamVR. However, if you are really paranoid about your friends finding out how much of a degen you are, you can change profile privacy settings or use a different steam account)
6. Done. Run the game. SteamVR should launch when you do, and the game will start outputting to your headset when you start a session.

Controls:

VR Controller:

• For most tasks, nod your head for the left button and shake your head for the right button.
• Pressing the grip button re-centers your POV. Holding the grip button then using a joystick adjusts the UI position. Up/down controls height, and left/right controls depth.
• The radial menu can be accessed by pressing down on a joystick button. Pressing down on the joystick button again will bring up the second level. In the radial menu, rotate the joystick to highlight an option then press a trigger to select it. You can also adjust the arousal meter by rotating the joystick down and left/right then pressing the trigger.
• The stakes and choice menu options can be selected with the joystick, then use a trigger press to confirm. (The stakes menu only showing one at a time is not a bug, it was originally unintentional but I ended up liking the idea of stakes being revealed one at a time)

Note: Counting inputs and removing statuses still requires the mouse, so press TAB to toggle the UI between VR and your monitor.

Keyboard:

• SHIFT to re-center your POV.
• You can change the height of the UI with pageup/pagedown or the Y and H keys.
• You can change the depth of the UI with Insert/Delete or the U and J keys.
• TAB to toggle the UI between VR and your monitor.

NOTES:

• The loading screens, menus, etc. are not visible in VR. Only sessions will display in the headset.
• This is a very janky way to play the game in VR. I haven’t done extensive testing. So far, it seems like hypnosis and ASMR work (relatively) well, but I’m unsure about other events. If anything unexpected happens, let me know so I can look into it. Smothering is very messed up right now in VR, I suggest turning it off.
• A lot of this has been trial and error to get working. You can ping or DM me if you have issues, but if you run into problems with your specific headset/setup, I may not be able to help much.
