• New settings section 字数属性 (off by default): property name (words), optional reading time (reading_time, minutes, configurable speeds), minimum change, idle time, skip oversized notes, include / exclude folders.
• Written as numbers with processFrontMatter. Automatic updates follow only the note you are editing, after you stop typing; nothing is rewritten when the value is unchanged; notes modified in the last 2 seconds are skipped; the plugin ignores its own writes.
• Commands: 更新当前笔记字数属性, 批量更新所有笔记字数属性 (dry-run count + confirm + progress), 移除所有字数属性 (confirm).
• README: Bases usage with a .base example (en + zh).
• Dashboard unchanged. Minimum Obsidian version stays 1.7.2.

Back up before enabling: Obsidian rewrites the properties block when it saves a property (YAML comments can be lost).

Clean-up for the Obsidian community plugin review (no visual change except a solid instead of dotted underline on unresolved links): minAppVersion is now 1.7.2; no !important in styles.css; typed access to Obsidian internals (no any / lint-disable); promises handled explicitly; window.setTimeout for popout windows; settings exposed through getSettingDefinitions() (Obsidian 1.13+) with display() kept for older versions; builtin-modules dev dependency removed.

• Fix: auto-collected files (e.g. daily "ForYou" dumps) no longer distort the trend. Notes over a threshold (default 20,000 words) are excluded from word trends, the heatmap and streaks, with a visible note and a switch. New "collection folders" setting, plus a banner that suggests folders that look auto-collected.
• Growth trend defaults to new notes per day; the word curve is labelled as based on current word counts.
• Heatmap default is now Smart: measured daily added words (recorded in the background) plus estimates for earlier days.
• Word counting fixes (Greek/Arabic/Hangul, huge-text slowdowns), on-disk word cache, no more rewriting a large data.json on each refresh.
