Kinden 0.4.0

  • Suspended and banned accounts can sign in to a restricted Notices & appeals screen and submit disputes. The owner console has an audited Appeals inbox and responses.
  • The mobile-friendly web app supports chat, pictures, friends, cosmetics and voice audio. Install it using Add to Home Screen on iPhone/iPad or your Android browser's install option. Screen sharing and screen video remain Windows features.
  • Notification settings include branded Windows alerts, in-app alerts, private-by-default previews, sounds, and Web Push subscriptions. iOS push requires iOS 16.4+ and the Home Screen app; actual delivery depends on device permissions and OS policies.
  • Type @username for channel-aware member suggestions and clickable mentions.
  • Optional game activity sharing receives compatible Discord RPC activity locally and displays details on profiles. Enable it in Settings → Game activity. Games already connected to Discord do not automatically send their data to Kinden. Support varies by game/SDK; join secrets and arbitrary external assets are excluded.

Validation: 45 automated tests, including restricted-session isolation, mentions/notification privacy, real Windows named-pipe framing, activity access/expiry, PWA handlers, and browser audio-only grants. Live isolated-account smoke test passed. Mobile navigation, mention selection, and appeal submission checked in local browser fixtures. Physical iOS/Android push delivery and broad game compatibility need device testing.

Existing installs download the update in the background. Choose Restart to update in the top bar to close Kinden, install silently, and reopen. This alpha Windows installer remains unsigned.
