Kinden 0.4.1

  • Cosmetic themes and nameplates now support transparent color backgrounds, with separate background, artwork and panel opacity controls. The creator shows a checkerboard transparency preview.
  • Nameplates support custom widths up to 640 px, minimum heights up to 160 px, horizontal/vertical padding, and larger corner radii. Set width or height to 0 for automatic sizing. Width and horizontal padding adapt to narrow chat and member-list containers.
  • Picture frames have a new "Profile picture above frame" option, available when creating or editing a frame.

Existing cosmetic designs keep their previous defaults. Transparency in uploaded PNG, WebP and GIF artwork is preserved.

Validation: 46 automated tests passed, including persistence, edit bounds, invalid-input rejection and legacy defaults. Browser checks covered transparent themes, editable dimensions, maximum padding in narrow containers, and both frame layers.

Existing installs download the update in the background. Choose Restart to update in the top bar to close Kinden, install silently, and reopen. This alpha Windows installer remains unsigned.
