Vertical video, wide-angle lens correction and a fresh new look.

What's new

• Vertical video (9:16, Pro). Switch with the new buttons at the top or ⇧⌘V, or just turn the Pocket upright and Pocket+ follows. With the Pocket upright you get true vertical video; with it lying flat Pocket+ crops a sharp 1080×1920 frame from 4K, no need to turn the camera
• Wide-angle lens correction (Pro). Using the DJI wide-angle lens? The new Wide Angle button straightens the curved edges, with a strength slider, while keeping people at the edges natural
• Return to last position (Pro). When the camera reconnects it turns and zooms back to where you left it. Landscape and vertical each remember their own position and scenes
• Reset camera position with the ↻ button in the title bar: centers the camera at 1× and forgets the last position
• Deleting a scene asks for confirmation right next to it (Delete ✓ ✕), no more pop-up
• Works alongside OBS, Google Meet and Zoom: the Pocket+ preview no longer freezes when another app opens the camera
• Auto framing in vertical frames you like a talking-head video
• Remembers your resolution, frame rate and codec
• ⌘S saves the current view as a scene (photo moved to ⇧⌘S); the mouse wheel zooms over the zoom control and joystick too
• Correct zoom limits for Osmo Pocket 4 and 4P
• Only the Osmo Pocket connects automatically; if it isn't found, Pocket+ tells you how to connect it
• The preview now shows the same colors as your recordings
• New look: SF Symbols icons, a redesigned Settings menu and smooth transitions when the camera switches modes
• A short guided tour shows how to aim by dragging the picture and zoom by scrolling (Pro)
• The resolution button shows the right icon for 4K, 2.7K, HD or vertical
• The window opens on the display where you left it

Pocket+ 1.1.5

Pocket Control is now Pocket+. Plus safer Pro licenses.

What's new

• New name and icon: Pocket Control is now Pocket+. Your settings, scenes, permissions and Pro license carry over
• The Osmo Pocket is always picked first, and virtual cameras (Camo, OBS and similar) no longer show up in the camera list
• Your Pro license is now stored securely in the macOS Keychain and tied to this Mac
• Pro confirms your license online now and then; it keeps working offline for up to 30 days
• Settings › Pro shows the license status and lets you check again

Existing licenses move over automatically, nothing to re-enter.

Pocket Control 1.1.2

Face tracking now works on the Osmo Pocket 4. On some cameras the gimbal turned the wrong way and ran away from your face. The app now notices this within a second, corrects the direction and remembers it for your camera. The joystick and dragging on the preview follow the same direction.

Pocket Control 1.1.1

Pocket Control now updates itself. From this version on, the app checks GitHub once a day and offers new versions with one click. You can turn this off or check manually in Settings › Updates.

What's new

• In-app updates: install new versions with one click, no re-downloading
• A clear prompt when the camera's own ActiveTrack takes over the gimbal: turn it off on the camera and resume tracking in one click
• Face tracking no longer switches itself off when you move from side to side
