Security warnings

The macOS and Windows builds aren't signed yet, so your OS will warn you when you open Harbor. BETA_TESTING.md explains how to verify the download and get past the warning.

Changes since beta 2

macOS

  • Harbor now runs on macOS 13 (Ventura) and later. Beta 2 was built to require macOS 26 by mistake, so it refused to open on older versions with "You cannot use this version of the application with this version of macOS".

There are no changes on Windows or Linux.

Known issues

  • macOS: Gatekeeper blocks the first launch (see the beta testing guide).
  • Windows: SmartScreen shows a warning (see the beta testing guide). Admin users also get a User Account Control prompt when the installer starts.
  • These builds don't run on Intel Macs.

Reporting problems

Please open an issue for anything that seems wrong. Include your Harbor version (Help > About Harbor), your OS, the input mode and axis options you used, and what happened. For audio problems, also include your audio device.
