Kuraya 2.0.1-beta.16 — updates built in 🧪

The JAV library that runs itself. Scrape, sort, subtitle, dedupe and play your own collection.

Install

  1. Download Kuraya-Setup-2.0.1-beta.16.exe below and run it (Windows may warn: More info → Run anyway).
  2. Start Kuraya from the Start menu. The Setup window guides you: folders first, then the free helper tools.

Updating: run the new Setup — it replaces the old version and keeps your settings, folders and library.
Uninstall via Windows Settings → Apps. Prefer no installer? Use the .zip (portable). Full guide: HOW_KURAYA_WORKS.txt.

🧪 Beta testers wanted

Kuraya is in beta, and we are looking for a few people to try it on their own collection before the first stable release.

  • What you do: install the latest Setup from Releases, use Kuraya with your own library for a week or two, and tell us what breaks, what is confusing and what is missing.
  • What you need: a Windows 10/11 PC and a JAV collection (adults 18+ only). An NVIDIA graphics card helps for the subtitle features.
  • How to join: open a "Tester sign-up" issue and say roughly how many movies you have and which graphics card you use. Bugs and ideas go in Issues too.

This request will be taken down once we have enough testers.

New

  • Automatic updates: Kuraya tells you when a new version is out and installs it with one click (Install now / Later / Skip this version). Also under Help → Check for updates. Your settings, folders and library are kept
  • Only one Kuraya at a time on the same library cache — starting it again brings the open window to the front instead of risking damage to the database

Changed

  • 21 software libraries updated to their latest safe versions, including two that their makers had withdrawn
