career-ops-coworker turns OpenWorker into a job-search operator: it scans boards, scores every posting against your CV, tailors a grounded CV + cover letter, tracks applications, and drafts follow-ups — driving the open-source career-ops pipeline in your own project folder. It ships no code; the single Markdown persona just steers the agent.

Install — one command

This idempotent, non-destructive installer sets up the career-ops pipeline (and, optionally, the career-ops-ui dashboard) the coworker drives. An already-installed project or dashboard is detected and reused — your cv.md / portals.yml / config are never overwritten:

Overrides: CAREER_OPS_ROOT=/path, SKIP_UI=1, NO_CLONE_COWORKER=1. When it finishes it prints the OpenWorker install steps below.

Install in OpenWorker

Install OpenWorker and add a model key (Anthropic / OpenAI / Google, or a local Ollama). Then open Install a coworker and add this coworker any of three ways:

• GitHub URL — choose GitHub URL and paste https://github.com/Fighter90/career-ops-coworker. OpenWorker clones the repo and installs the persona.
• .zip — download career-ops-coworker.zip from Releases and use the .zip option.
• Import — pick the career-ops.md file (or point the folder option at a local clone).

The coworker lands disabled pending your consent — approve it, open a Job-Search Coworker session, and choose your career-ops folder.

Requirements

OpenWorker (macOS / Windows) + one model API key; Node.js ≥ 18 and git for the pipeline; a career-ops project folder with your cv.md, config/profile.yml, and portals.yml. The coworker ships no keys — you add the model key in OpenWorker, and scanning needs none.

First run

Open a Job-Search Coworker session, pick your career-ops folder, and ask for something real:

• "Scan my boards and give me the top 5 fits this week."
• "Tailor my CV for this posting: and write a cover letter."
• "Open the dashboard."
