v1.140.0
[1.140.0] — 2026-08-12
Insightful stats: richer salary figures — the #/stats "My pipeline" salary breakdown now shows the average (not just the median), a per-year ⇄ per-month toggle, and a min · avg · median · max table per country. First slice of roadmap Phase 3. A user-reported UX pass (no parent-sync).
Added
- Average (mean) salary —
RoleStats.salaryStatsnow returnsavgUsdalongsideminUsd/medianUsd/maxUsd. The median resists outliers; the average exposes right-skew (a few very-high postings pull it above the median), so the two together read as a distribution rather than a single point. - Per-year ⇄ per-month toggle on the salary section — every figure divides by 12 for the monthly view, respecting the currency selector.
- Min · avg · median · max table per country under the "salary by country" chart, driven by the same currency + period controls. 8 new i18n keys × 17 locales.
Notes
- Salary figures are still derived only from postings/applications with a parseable salary and normalized to USD via approximate FX — indicative, not authoritative (the existing caveat stays on the section).
- Remaining Phase 3 — interactive/rebuildable charts, the "Unknown" archetype fix (orientation), and funded-company enrichment — continues in later releases (
docs/UX-ROADMAP.md). - Suite: 2361 tests (+1: an average-right-skew case in
tests/role-stats.test.mjs).
