The Figma Linux app is out of date and is asking to download the latest version.

Which version are you using? The flatpak is currently out of date. All other packages should be up to date.

Flatpak version is currently out of date. Since you are using Linux Mint, you can download .deb file or .AppImage file (mark it as execute and run it) from Releases

Other packages outside of official packages are not supported and should report to the maintainer of these packages to update. Use AppImage as it works across many distros

Sadly, the reason why it wasn't update is that a flathub staff requires a change for this software before they can get updated.
