This repository contains a personal port of PlayerCollars / Leshable Collars for Minecraft 26.1.2 Fabric.

This work is based on ElsaCounteragent's Fabric fork. Special thanks to Elsa for the previous fork work, which served as the foundation for this migration.

Highlights

• Updated the mod for Minecraft 26.1.2 Fabric.
• Restored compatibility with modern Fabric API and Trinkets Updated.
• Fixed multiple crashes, including leash-related enchantment issues.
• Restored core collar, leash, pet bowl, dog bed, grooming, and laser pointer functionality.
• Reworked pet interaction restrictions for improved stability and consistency.
• Added functional mining speed penalties for hand paws.
• Fixed leash rendering and leash-to-fence behavior.
• Fixed numerous registration, resource, recipe, UI, and compatibility issues discovered during testing.

Notes

Although this port is based on ElsaCounteragent's fork, it is not a complete recreation of every feature and configuration system that existed in that branch.

Some features were simplified or replaced with more stable behavior during the migration process. The primary goal of this project was to restore playability and compatibility on Minecraft 26.1.2 rather than to fully reproduce every upstream modification.

As a result, this version should be considered a practical compatibility port intended to keep the mod usable on modern Fabric versions.

Disclaimer

This is still a very early personal maintenance project and is not intended to be a long-term actively maintained fork.

While the mod has been tested throughout development, it has not been exhaustively tested across all gameplay situations, modpacks, server environments, or multiplayer scenarios.

Use at your own risk. Before installing the mod or using it in an existing world, please back up your worlds and important save data.
