Refinement release:
split-view and status-panel polish, urlbar/tab alignment fixes, and a round of decluttering. Manually verified across Windows, macOS, and Linux (GNOME & KDE).

Fixes

  • Bookmark star no longer renders 1px too low in the urlbar.
  • Tab close button now reveals reliably on hover.
  • Tab close button aligned and sized to the label line.
  • Urlbar text size matched to the tab labels.

Refinements

  • Status panel: squared corners, 8px inset matching the findbar.
  • Split view: dropped the active-pane outline (it couldn't close cleanly on every platform); the inactive-pane URL footer is now squared and floats like the status panel.

Housekeeping

  • Removed untested layout and highlight config options.
  • Docs and README overhauled; previews now ship from local assets/.
