3.8.6 – True is not the same as present

Firefox 157 quietly changed how the URL bar marks itself as focused. FoxOne was still asking for the old value, so a whole set of rules simply stopped applying. With the mouse over the URL bar nothing looked wrong, which is why it took a while to notice.
Thanks to @acpuma, whose patch in #52 contained the fix in passing.

Fixed

  • Focusing the URL bar from the keyboard (Ctrl+L, F6) now reveals the permission icons, the container label and the page action icons again, the same way hovering does.

Notes

  • Only userChrome.css changed. userContent.css carries nothing but the new version stamp, so there is no need to copy it again.
