Describe the bug
On demo.flagsmith.com, the time it takes to get a ping back in the event stream is 8-10 seconds, once the message is received the update is sub 100ms.
Steps To Reproduce
Adjust a feature like announcement on https://demo.flagsmith.com/, keep an eye on the event stream data to see how long it takes to get a message.
Expected behavior
The event stream is more responsive to changes
