Landing / Multiple Drops

Not maybe an issue as such, but recurring.

I have got the latest version of everything i.e. Forge, Flans et al, However..

I find landing almost impossible. I can get planes to the floor, but they either automatically explode, or when I get out of the plane it then explodes.

It also leaves 4 of each plane component on the floor. (Not necessarily a bad thing, but a bit of a cheat).

Has anyone else experienced this. [If not, I will close] Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

In multiplayer I have almost the complete opposite issue. Players are able to be going at full speed in a fast plane and hit the ground vertically and then just get out and pick up the plane.

Thank you. I've completely broken it now anyway as guns couldn't be crafted, so I've re-installed the lot (23 mods, Flans Mod first) and now I can't craft anything. I think I'll start again. I'll close this as I cannot resolve now anyway.

[Just for reference, I was putting .zips in the \Flan folder instead of the actual folders]
