  the README release-notes block and the GitHub release notes are generated by
  the published pi-release CLI, and CI/release run through its shared reusable
  workflows (pinned @v0.1). The local scripts/ copies are gone.

• The npm package page now shows the changes of the published version: the
  CHANGELOG section is inlined into the README, instead of only linking to
  CHANGELOG.md. Gitea and the GitHub mirror show the same README, so the notes
  of the current release are visible there too. The README also carries
  npm/license/CI/changelog badges.
• GitHub release notes for a version come from its CHANGELOG section (same text
  as the npm package page) instead of a generated commit list.
• Release helpers live in scripts/ (not published): README block sync, which
  npm run check and CI verify, plus the release-notes body for release.yml.
