HomeLens 2.0.2 — Reolink camera in Apple Home, true 4K
Put your Reolink camera in the Apple Home app: live view with audio and HomeKit Secure Video recordings in the camera's original 4K quality (H.264 or HEVC, iOS/tvOS 27 hubs). Native macOS app, nothing else to install. 100% open source (MIT), built for Apple — Swift 6, SwiftUI, VideoToolbox on Apple Silicon, no cloud, no telemetry.
What's new since 0.1
- 4K end to end: live view on the LAN and HKSV recordings use the camera's original 3840 × 2160 stream, no re-encoding (verified on a Reolink CX810).
- Smooth live view on iPhone: Reolink RTSP timestamps and packet bursts are re-timed and paced before reaching Apple Home.
- Clips are ended by the Home hub (no more accessory-side 20 s cut-off).
- Detection survives reboots: the native Reolink motion/person API is retried instead of falling back to ONVIF for good (fixes "HKSV stopped recording after a restart").
- Live audio no longer drops mid-stream (RTP packet cap).
- macOS 27 launch crash fixed (AVKit).
- New native icon, designed DMG window, MIT license.
