FluxBilling OS Installer v1.0
Pre-releaseFirst public release.
A ~3 MB iPXE boot ISO that installs 19 server OS entries — Ubuntu 18.04–26.04,
Debian 11–13, AlmaLinux 8–10, Rocky Linux 8–10, CentOS Stream 9–10, and
openSUSE Leap 15.6 / 16.0 — automated or manually, over IPMI virtual media or
USB.
Attach it, answer five prompts, pick an OS, walk away. Kernels, initrds and
install ISOs stream at boot from the official distro mirrors over the data NIC
you select in the menu. No PXE server, no DHCP, no config host.
Requirements: 8 GB RAM for Ubuntu 22.04+, 4 GB for the RHEL family, 2.5 GB
for Leap 16.0. Alma/Rocky/CentOS 10 need an x86_64-v3 CPU (Haswell/EPYC or
newer).
Tested end to end: Ubuntu 24.04 on Dell iDRAC. The other entries share the
same verified mechanics but deserve a hardware smoke test.
USB: the image is an isohybrid — dd it to a stick and it boots on BIOS
and UEFI. On Windows use Rufus in DD Image mode.
Licensing: FluxBilling-OS-Installer_v1.0.iso contains a modified iPXE
(commit 56a4f695), licensed GPL-2.0-or-later. Complete corresponding source,
including every modification, is this repository. Build it yourself with
./build.sh.
