Forge v0.7.4 is a public beta / developer preview release focused on Charter-backed orchestration reliability.

Highlights

• Keeps long-running repository executions alive with renewable, authority-checked WorkspaceLeases.
• Restores governance-derived Task creation and the read-only pre-baseline discovery/planning lane.
• Repairs Project deletion, milestone projection reloads, canonical Mxxx milestone creation, active-primary invariants, and direct Project Agent readiness evaluation.
• Scopes approval/check idempotency to operation, Project/account, and principal while closing cross-project replay oracles.
• Corrects Document and context-manifest freshness projections, validates closed Task proposals before admission, and bounds CLI chat persistence.

Compatibility

Task proposal payloads now reject unknown fields before action admission. This is an intentional beta breaking change; update clients that included transport-only fields such as project_id inside the proposal payload.

• Web lint, typecheck, 181 tests, production build, and Playwright smoke.
• Cargo audit, 133-commit secret scan, local archive install/UI smoke, and Docker image smoke.
