Kakarayan 0.2.0 is a usability and research-export release.

Improvements

  • Sentence translation matches render as one readable line with inline highlighting.
  • Save and citation confirmations stay visible near the bottom of the viewport.
  • Lookup now has one clear action for the query, result set, and URL state.
  • Word and morpheme dataset previews find interlinear records instead of stopping at unrelated early shards.
  • New data builds publish per-shard text, sentence, word, morpheme, token, and audio counts.
  • Docs now embeds the canonical FormosanBank GitBook welcome page and uses GitBook's own sidebar.

Data snapshot

The public application remains pinned to the immutable FormosanBank data release fb-20260810-1898fecc. This release changes the application and publisher without replacing existing data assets.

Validation

CI passed the PostgreSQL-backed Python suite, deterministic publisher verification, API container build, JavaScript/Python/R clients, npm audit, production build budgets, and the Chromium, mobile Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit accessibility matrix.
