Web Calendars do not Refresh

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Have a calendar added by URL on the previous version of the app.
2. Update the app on F-Droid
3. Wait until online calendar had a new event
4. Pull to refresh

Expected behavior

The new event should show up in first calendar.

Actual behavior

Refresh hangs -- the icon keeps spinning -- new events are not added to the phone's calendar.

Hello,

I am having trouble with synced calendars for the first time, this week.

My calendars that were added by URL are not syncing. If I "pull to refresh" from the events page, the refresh element keeps rotating indefinitely.

In contrast, in the nextcloud web app calendar, the Add By URL calendars are up to date.

It is affecting both of my "add by URL" calendars, which have work schedules...

Is there any way to send bug reports or troubleshoot?

Fossify Calendar does not have an Add by URL option.

• Are you using ICSx⁵? Please check its permissions and ensure it is allowed to run in the background.

• Do those new events appear in other calendar apps like Etar?

I am using ICSx⁵, and forcing a refresh fixed the issue.

It already has permissions to run in the background, but my phone is notorious for being difficult to configure for apps to run in the background.

I also restarted the phone.

The "pull to refresh refreshes forever" bug is still happening.
