Feature description
I would like to request an automatic call recording feature in Fossify Phone.
The app should allow users to automatically record incoming and outgoing calls.
There should be an option to enable/disable this feature in the settings.
Users should be able to choose:
Record all calls
Record only selected contacts
Exclude certain contacts
The recorded audio files should be saved in a dedicated folder, with clear naming (e.g., contact name + date/time).
A notification could appear to remind the user that a call is being recorded.
Why do you want this feature?
Sometimes it’s important to keep a record of phone conversations for future reference (work-related calls, customer service, agreements, or personal reminders). Currently, Fossify Phone does not provide an option for automatic call recording, which means I have to manually remember details or use third-party apps.
Having this feature built-in would:
Make it more convenient and reliable.
Avoid the need for external apps that may not be secure.
Provide an integrated solution that respects privacy and user control.
Additional information
It would be helpful if recordings are stored securely and easily accessible in the app.
Option to organize recordings by date or contact would improve usability.
