First run

The beta is ad-hoc signed and is not notarized. If macOS blocks it, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.

What's new

• Added support for new output formats when building .stems files, so your source formats can stay intact instead of being converted to 320Kbps MP3: Flac, WAV, Aiff. M4A is NOT great.
• Keeping original source also preserves saved hot cues and other saved serato info and id3 tags.

It is IMPERATIVE to build the .stems files with Serato DJ closed.

Allow the app on first run

The beta is ad-hoc signed and is not notarized.

1. Unzip the download and move GOOD CLEAN STEMS to your Applications folder.
2. Open the app. If macOS displays the warning below, click Done. Do not click Move to Trash.

3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
4. Scroll to the Security section and click Open Anyway beside the GOOD CLEAN STEMS message.

5. Authenticate if macOS asks, then confirm Open. This approval is normally required only once for that app version.

GOOD CLEAN STEMS 0.8 — macOS 14 MLX Test

Test build from the private codex/macos14-mlx-compat branch.

Changes: MLX 0.31.2 and native audio I/O artifacts are targeted at macOS 14.0; bundled FFmpeg tools are also packaged for macOS 14.

Please test on macOS 14.8.1 Apple silicon, especially launch, separation, and Serato export. This is a prerelease; the stable v0.8 release is unchanged.

GOOD CLEAN STEMS Model Pack 0.1

Converted model files for GOOD CLEAN STEMS. The app downloads only the files required for the selected extraction. Each file is verified against the SHA-256 checksum in the source registry.

PolarFormer 62 uses an MLX-converted checkpoint derived from ZFTurbo's official model_bs_polarformer_float16.ckpt in the Music-Source-Separation-Training v1.0.20 release.

These model files are not covered by the GOOD CLEAN STEMS MIT License. See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md for attribution and licensing details.
