Overview - listOMVG

The aim of this software is the creation of the file lists.txt needed by openMVG to run the matches computation.

Dependencies

The listomvg comes with the following dependencies :

Installation

To clone the repository, use the command :

git clone https://github.com/FoxelSA/listomvg.git --recursive
cd listomvg

To build the binaries using cmake, use the command :

mkdir build; cd build; cmake ../src && make all

Now update your bash with the following command. !!! WARNING !!! Please update the following command with the correct path of the listomvg folder !!!

echo 'export PATH=$PATH:/home/user/listomvg/path/listomvg/build/' >> /home/user/.bashrc
bash

Usage

Before using the software, you could create a file where the channel you will use are stored, one channel number per line, with no space before and after the number. For example, such a file could be named channel.txt and will look like

  10
  14
  24
  25

if you want to use channel 10, 14, 24 and 25 of eyesis4pi camera. The file channel.txt is an optionnal file. To use the software with the channel file, juste type

./listomvg -i /path/to/image/directory -o /path/to/directory/where/lists/should/be/ -m AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF -d camera/folder/mountpoint

where AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF is the mac address of the elphel camera. We could have some optionnal argument

-f value If you want to set a focal of value for all images
-p 1/0 Use (or not) principal point of calibration. Default is 1
-r 1/0 Compute lists.txt for global method with rigid rig. Default is 1

Examples

We suppose here that we are in an openMVG folder with contains only an image folder

  openMVG/
      images/
      channel.txt

and we want to create the file lists.txt, located at openMVG/matches which is related to the images that are in openMVG/images/folder. We also suppose that camera folder is mounted in directory /data/. Then, supposing that we are in the openMVG folder, the commands to generate files are the following : For lists.txt file with constant focal and principal point at the center of image,

 listomvg -i images/ -o matches/ -f 2050 -p 0 -m AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF -d /data/

For lists.txt file using rig structure, principal point and focal of calibration,

  listomvg -i images/ -o matches/ -m AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF -d /data/

For lists.txt file using principal point, focal of calibration and no rig structure,

  listomvg -i images/ -o matches/ -r 0 -m AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF -d /data/
