srm panorama panorama_v0.4

Overview

This module is used to align or rotate panoramas producing in both case rotated panoramas. When earth alignment is used, the module uses the inertial information provided by the camera, if available, to rotate the panorama and align it to earth. If the rotation is considered, the module expects three angles used to compute to rotated mapping.

Presentation

In addition to the standard interface arguments and parameters, this module expects the following execution mode arguments and parameters :

-m [parameter]

The parameter of this argument describe the method used by the
module to compute the aligned/rotated panorama images. If
'norama-rotate' is provided, panoramas are rotated using the
software of the same name. If 'norama-earth' is provided, the
module uses the CSPS inertial information to align the panoramas
on earth using the software of the same name

-a [angle] -e [angle] -r [angle]

If 'norama-rotate' is provided, the module expects the azimuth,
elevation and roll angle to perform its task. The three
parameters of those argument are used to specify those angle
that are to be provided in degrees. If 'norama-earth' is
provided as module mode, those parameters are ignored.

As described in the standard interface documentation, this module expects a parameter to the '-n' argument to determine the parentage of the data.

Demonstration

The following command gives an example of the module script call for the processing of camera poses all contained within the same MMSR range :

srm-panorama-panorama --mount-point /path/to/storage\
                      --address 00-0e-64-08-1b-6e/1400683811/1400683814/\
                      1400683880_023612-1400684950_023612\
                      -n f135842f117b8c1f -m norama-earth\
                      --thread 4 --local-thread 2

On this example, the refinement process handled by this module is executed on four instances of the module kernel script allowing two threads to the sub-process they have to handle.
