XUUnity MCP v0.3.78
Why this matters
The multi-project batch compile runner can intentionally close an editor that
it previously opened so a closed-project batch lane can start. That behavior
was described in help, but the live output and final summary did not say when
it actually happened.
What changed
- Released
v0.3.78package metadata, server metadata, package manifests, and
Git URL package manager examples. - Multi-project batch compile output now prints a
BATCH_EDITOR_CLOSE_NOTICEimmediately after a verified editor close and
before compilation continues. Per-project and aggregate summaries retain the
editor process id, closeout classification, close path, and a readable
side-effect notice. Missing recovery evidence remainsunavailableinstead
of being reported as no close.
What this gives developers
Developers can see an editor-close side effect as soon as it happens and can
trace the exact process in the saved batch results instead of discovering the
close after the compile has already started.
Validation
- The full host suite passed
1096tests with14expected platform skips;
focused runner and process-contract coverage passed21/21; and public site
checks passed42/42across desktop, mobile, and narrow browser profiles. - A Unity
6000.0.58f2package consumer passed the live batch compile matrix
6/6with no warnings. That run also proved that an explicit no-close receipt
is reported aseditor_closed_before_batch=false.
Known limitations
This release does not infer editor-close results from a successful recovery
exit code. Missing, malformed, or incomplete closeout evidence stays
unavailable. The actual close-notice path is covered deterministically; the
live Unity run did not need to close an editor.
