🚀 Getting Started

From install to your first completed task in about three minutes.

📲 First run

  1. Install & open Agent 24 — grant the permissions it asks for (storage, camera, battery, all-files access). They are requested once, up front.
  2. Connect a provider — /connect, pick a provider, paste your API key.
  3. Choose a model — /model (capability flags tell you what each model supports: tools, images, reasoning, streaming).
  4. Pick a mode — /build (full access) or /plan (asks before edits).
  5. Describe the task in plain language and let it work.

💬 Useful first commands

/new Start a fresh session
/sessions List your sessions
/help Show every command
/skills List loaded skills
/agents List available agents
/model Switch model
/theme Change theme

🧠 Modes

Mode Behaviour
Build Default. Full tool access — the workhorse.
Plan Read-only analysis; asks before any edit or command.

💡 Tips

  • Press / for the command palette, Ctrl + K to search.
  • The agent keeps working until the task is done — stop it any time with the Stop button.
  • Replies follow your language automatically; force a fixed one in Settings.
