Basically similar to #265, but regarding the Framework 16, where I don't see any option for this in the BIOS.
I noticed that the area around the touchpad tends to get pretty warm, even under low load, and realized it's due to the system fans not spinning at all on idle.
When turning them on manually, even at a low level, that area cools down considerably and makes typing a lot more pleasant.
I saw another tool called YAFI has an option to set a fan control point for when to turn on the fan. I'm not too keen on using a GUI just for that and it seems like the kind of thing that would fit perfectly into framework_tool.
So is that an option that could be exposed here?
