Remote Sessions Support

Manage AI coding sessions on remote machines (dev boxes, cloud VMs, etc.) from your local Agent View dashboard.

New Features

  • Remote Session Creation - Press Shift+N to create sessions on remote hosts via SSH
  • Remote Session Management - Attach, restart, delete, and hibernate remote sessions
  • Auto-install av - Automatically prompts to install av on remote if not found
  • Recents Support - Remote sessions are saved to recents for quick recreation
  • Session List - Press Ctrl+L to view all sessions (local + remote) in a unified list

Setup

  1. Install av on the remote machine (or let Agent View install it for you)
  2. Ensure SSH access is configured (key-based auth recommended)
  3. Press Shift+N to create a remote session

Other Improvements

  • Confirmation dialog for all session deletions
  • SSH ControlMaster for connection reuse (faster subsequent commands)
  • Tests for SSH module
