@aportugu aportugu released this 24 Sep 04:41

Codex–Perplexity Adapter v0.1.5

  • Route the advertised GPT-6 and GPT-5.6 model choices to their corresponding Perplexity Agent API models. gpt-5.6 remains an alias for gpt-5.6-sol, now explained in the app's About dialog.
  • Give namespaced custom tools distinct upstream names and restore their namespaces on returned tool calls, so Codex can dispatch them to the correct plugin.
  • Retry upstream HTTP 429 responses up to two additional times. The adapter uses short backoff or a bounded Retry-After delay and returns persistent rate limits to Codex.

The Apple Silicon and Intel apps are signed with a Developer ID certificate, notarized by Apple, and stapled. The release also includes the Python wheel, SPDX SBOM, and SHA-256 checksums.

  • Includes native Apple Silicon and Intel builds.
  • Includes SHA-256 checksums and an SPDX software bill of materials.

v0.1.3

@aportugu aportugu released this 07 Aug 23:16

Governance-focused release of the Codex–Perplexity Adapter.

  • Restricts the local service to 127.0.0.1 and the upstream destination to Perplexity's HTTPS Responses endpoint.
  • Disables API documentation routes and access logging.
  • Pins direct Python dependencies and adds automated dependency monitoring.
  • Includes SHA-256 checksums and an SPDX software bill of materials.

The macOS apps are ad-hoc signed and are not Apple-notarized. See the README for first-launch guidance.
